Qualities I believe make people subscribe to YouTubers

I will eventually make a video all about this but I thought I'd make a blog on what I think have made people want to subscribe to my channel. I am not saying I'm famous or well known, because I'm well aware that I'm not, but I have been asked by several YouTubers who are just starting out "How can I get people to subscribe to me?" "How can I get more views?"and those sorts of questions. So I came up with a few things that I think are important. The same way that I make videos, I also view them and there are some characteristics that I find make me subscribe to someones channel.

#1. Be kind. I actually have a little story for this one. A while ago, one of my friends (a subscriber) asked me for advice on something. However, I didn't know how to reply to them because I don't have experience in that particular area. So I told them of another YouTuber who I thought would be helpful to them. When I told the person about this YouTuber, the person told me that they'd rather get advice from me, even if I had no experience in that area, because the YouTuber that I recommended "replies in a rude manner, and makes me feel low and unintelligent"....OUCH! Of course I'm not going to say who the person is but that goes to show you how important kindness and being nice to others. What is known as "word of mouth" in the business world also applies to YouTube. People will definitely recommend the channels they like and the channels that make them feel happy. We all want to be respected, treated nicely, and not looked down upon.

#2. Be aware of what you say. When you talk to someone on the internet or make a video and upload it, be careful of what you say and how you say it. Viewers can get offended, not tell you, and unsubscribe. For example, if I am making a video on organizing an agenda, and I say that people who don't use agendas are stupid and disorganized, I am obviously going to offend whoever doesn't use an agenda (btw I don't think that of those who don't use an agenda, I'm just giving an example[: ). And then that person I offended will most likely unsubscribe, not watch my videos anymore, and possibly hate me. So please be very very careful with the wording of sentences in your videos.

#3. Reply to comments, message, tweets, etc. This has to be my number 1 tip! Even if you can't reply to every single comment, at least reply to the questions people ask you. Just because you have thousands of people subscribed to you does not give you the right to not reply to them, if you're making videos be prepared to answer questions because that's what you pretty much "signed up" for (: Personally, I love replying to all of the wonderful and beautiful people who enjoy my videos, but more than anything I like forming a friendship with them. Why? Not so that they stay subscribed to me, but so that they know they can count on me if they need help getting motivated or things of that sort. Nothing makes me happier than knowing I've helped someone(:

#4. Be yourself. As I always tell myself "I would rather have someone not subscribe to a real me, then have someone subscribe to a fake me." Be proud of who you are, what you believe in, and show that in your videos (:

#5. Get to the point. Anything that isn't related to your video title should be said at the end of the video, NOT the beginning. When someone clicks your video, they click it because of the title, but if you come out talking about something completely different for the first 5 minutes of your video, most often than not people will exit out & look for another YouTuber. If you're busy like me, you want to the video to get straight to the point to not waste time(:

If I think of more tips I will make sure to update this blog and let you know ^_^ But that's it for now! Thank you so much for reading!(:

Closet Organization for Small Closets

As many of you may know, I redid my closet about 2 months ago and filmed a video giving you tips and tricks to organize yours! :D For some reason, YouTube has a limit to how long my description can be and I have ALOT of links to give you which I believe you can benefit from. Therefore, I decided to post all of the links I found for you (none are affiliated, this means I do not get paid if you click the link, nor do I get paid if you purchase anything). I know how time consuming researching products can be so I tried to find items for everyone, whether you are on a budget or not (: Since everyone has different tastes and items they prefer to use, I tried to find as many different storage solutions as I possibly could.

Before my closet became my dream closet (video if you want to see it): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fbnIa4KyM-I I will soon make a blogpost on the steps I take to organize closets (I've organized my closet multiple times hehe).

Closet Organization Tips for Small Closets is the video I decided to make to help those with small spaces get inspiration to get organized. I am not saying my closet is small, I know that I am blessed with a nice closet size that fits everything I need. However, I believe the storage solutions themselves, such as vertical hanging, storage boxes, and thin hangers, can be beneficial for someone with a small closet (:

I have also added the closet organization for small closets uploaded by my YouTube friend TheGLOSSette. I thought it was an exactly video to add to this blog since her closet is smaller than mine(: Also, she gives awesome tips (;

So here we go, onto the links!

One of my lovely Canadian viewers mentioned a store, XS Cargo, which has the same type of storage that I showed you :D So I googled it and found a couple of items that I would buy if I lived in Canada and did not have access to some of the stores mentioned in the video(: I hope this helps!

I also found this website (also for Canadians) and there's TONS of storage solutions on here!Just pick the area you want to get organized and a lot of items will be displayed(: http://www.solutions-stores.ca/ecommerce/control/category/~category_id=025

Below you will find the same links as in my video. I'm not sure if these companies ship internationally, so if you know of a store that does you can let me know and I'll provide links of the items I would purchase if I lived in another country.

I always recommend checking Amazon or eBay since you can usually find the same items at a cheaper price, and that is especially helpful for those on a budget.

Where have I been?

FTC: I did not proofread this, so please excuse any errors (: Thanks <3

So I've been asked a lot where I am, how I've been, if I'm alive...hahahaha! Yes I'm okay ^_^ But I'll fill you in on what has been going on in my life(:

I finished my midterms March 1 and that was when my spring break began! I'll start by saying that it felt like I was off for 2 weeks because it passed by sooooo slow :D On the official first day of spring break, Friday March 2, I went with my friends to an amazing outlet mall in my town and we ate at one of my favorite restaurants: Rainforest Cafe. It's ambiance is like a jungle and it's all decorated with animals, storms, and the coolest ceiling ever! I also did some shopping for a couple of supplies for my bedroom since I was working on a few unfinished projects.

Then Saturday comes around and of course, I get sick -__- It totally ruined my first weekend off in weeks, but it made me catch up on Season 4 of Supernatural (; Sunday was definitely the worst day, I had a fever, I felt like I got run over by a few trucks, and I was SO cranky hahaha! But I'm much better now(:

When Monday came around, I was feeling a bit better but not so much. My brother wanted to organize and rearrange his room so I helped him do that while also working on 2 projects for school and my bedroom as well. We ended up throwing 6 bags of trash out of my brothers room!! He's not very good at organizing and could use all the help he can get! It was such a terrible mess! Now it's painted Cathedral Gray by Behr, everything has a place thanks to IKEA/Target and their awesome containers, and it's a room where he can actually relax in (:

Then Friday to Saturday was super fun!  One of my best friends had a sleep over on Friday and we had the best time at her house :D On Saturday at noon we went to this restaurant I had never been to called Cracker Barrel and oh em gee it was so yummy! The best part about it was that while we waited to be seated, we shopped around in a little store that's inside the restaurant (: I got a mug for my mug collection (of course hehe) and on the bottom I wrote the date so I would treasure it in my heart forever (:

And yesterday, Sunday, was the last day of spring break, so my family and I went to eat at Fuddruckers where I had the Southwest Taco Salad (DELICIOUS!!). Overall it was such a wonderful and adventurous break from not having to drive to school all week! :D So today, Monday, I'll be finishing up my assignment that's due on Wednesday, and working a bit more on my part of a group project. I don't have class tonight because my professor is out of town (: Also, I'll be going to Home Depot to buy some shelf rests for my bookshelf shelves. If you all remember my room tour, I was only able to have 3 shelves in my bookshelf because of the trophies that were taking up so much space! But after a lot of time spent reorganizing the rest of the house, I was able to take out about 15 trophies and that opened up the entire bookshelf! :D So I'm really excited to take all my books out of storage and be able to have them on my shelf where I can look at them and reread them, as well as add more books I purchase or that are given to me (:

Very excited for this upcoming week, I feel it's going to be a very productive one! :D

Thank you for reading!! <3 I love you all and hope to see you soon(:
